Alloyed boilersteel

Alloyed pressure vessel steels are more heat resistant than non-alloyed ones. Alloy pressure vessel steels are favourably used in applications with elevated temperatures. Depending on the steel grade chosen, they can be used at temperatures up to about 700°C, without losing their mechanical properties. Within this material group, there are also stainless steel pressure vessel steels. Alloyed pressure vessel steels also have good weldability.
