Bearing steel

Livallco offers ball bearing steel – ideal for facilitating hardening processes. Ball bearing steel is a type of steel with an increased carbon content. The carbon content contributes to the material curing more easily and thereby has a more homogeneous hardness through the material’s cross section. The high and homogeneous hardness of the material makes it relatively brittle.
Ball bearing steel is well suited for e.g. ball bearings and roller surfaces
Ball bearing steel is well suited for applications where surfaces are worn without blows, e.g:
- Ball bearings
- Rolling surfaces
- Shoulder pins
