S355NL is a high strength, low alloy structural steel widely used in various industries for its good mechanical properties and versatility. S355NL: "S" stands for structural steel, "355" indicates the minimum yield strength in megapascals (MPa), however, this depends on the dimension or thickness and can vary. +N" means that the steel has been normalised and "L" that the steel has been impact tested at -50°C.
