X22CrMoV12-1, also known as 1.4923 is an alloyed, martensitic, heat-resistant pressure vessel steel used primarily in high temperature applications, particularly in the manufacture of boilers, pressure vessels and gas turbines.

1.4923 is characterised by its excellent high temperature strength, resistance to oxidation and creep resistance. These properties make it well suited for use in high-temperature and high-pressure environments, where other materials can fail or degrade rapidly.

1.4923 can withstand temperatures up to 600°C and has a high yield strength of min. 600 MPa.

It is a high-performance material that, due to its excellent mechanical properties and high resistance to corrosion and oxidation at high temperatures, is widely used in the energy industry. It is also widely used in the construction of superheater tubes, reheater tubes and steam tubes in boilers and turbines, and in the chemical industry.

In summary, 1.4923 is an alloyed, martensitic, heat-resistant pressure vessel steel for use in applications with a working temperature up to 600°C.
