Wear resistant steel
Livallco provides several different variants of wear steel both as wear plate and as wear bar.
Each wear steel has its individual characteristics and the following issues should be considered when selecting a wear steel:
- Does the steel need to be weldable?
- Does the steel need to be bendable?
- What kind of wear and tear will the steel be subjected to?
- Scratching abrasion or is it exposed to knocks and bumps etc.?
- Desired lifespan/life cycle of the product?
