Unalloyed boilersteel
Non-alloy pressure vessel steels are mainly used for applications with slightly elevated temperatures. Depending on the steel grade chosen, they can be used at temperatures from -50°C up to about 450°C, without losing their mechanical properties. These steels have good formability in both hot and cold conditions and good weldability.
